The New York Mets won tonights game two of the NLCS, behind a strong pitching performance by rookie pitcher Noah Syndergaard.
Noah Syndergaard went 5.2 innings, giving up one run, three hits, one walk and struck out nine, while out pitching Chicago Cubs ace Jake Arrieta who went five innings, gave up five hits, four earned runs, two walks and eight strikeouts.
An Honorable mention goes out to the NY Mets Bullpen pitchers Addison Reed, Tyler Clippard and closer Jeurys FAmilia who threw for three scoreless innings in the seventh, eighth and ninth each an inning a piece.
The big hit came from NY Mets second baseman Daniel Murphy who hit a two run homerun off of Cubs ace Jake Arrieta, finished the night going two for three with a walk and two RBI's.
The lone run from the Cubs came by way of Rookie third baseman Kris Bryant who went two for four with an RBI.
The Series now shifts to Wrigley Field in Chicago Tuesday night, as the Mets ace Jacob DeGrom takes the mound versus Chicago Cubs Righty Kyle Hendricks.
